  1. Leadership Communication EDUCATOR
  2. Leadership & Educational CONTENT CREATOR
  3. Linguistics Lecturer and RESEARCHER

Valedictorian of my B.Ed. in English Teaching and a National Mawapres finalist, I bring advanced English proficiency and a strong foundation in grammar, phonetics, and syntax. I design student-centered instruction—integrating modern pedagogy, curriculum design, classroom management, ed-tech, assessment, and intercultural communication—to deliver meaningful learning.

MA in Applied Linguistics (UQ, Dean’s Commendation every semester) with advanced expertise in language analysis and real-world applications—language acquisition, multilingualism, and teaching methodologies. I apply linguistic theory to solve communication challenges across educational and cross-cultural contexts, with strong research skills for policy evaluation and empirical studies.

PhD in Linguistics (Pragmatics) with deep expertise in how language creates meaning in context—politeness, implicature, speech acts, and other nuance-driven phenomena. I apply pragmatic theory to real-world communication (intercultural settings, discourse analysis, language teaching) and bring strong research design, critical thinking, and scholarly writing to research, teaching, and consultancy.

My online presence centers on leadership communication and learning. I reach 340K on TikTok, 330K on Instagram, and 53K on Threads with short, research-informed insights on personal development, language, and leadership, while 500+ LinkedIn connections anchor my professional exchange. As a TEDx UNAIR speaker and podcast guest (e.g., with Dr. Indrawan Nugroho), I extend these ideas to long-form platforms; collaborations with figures like Sudjiwo Tedjo, Jerome Polin, Tretan Muslim, and Danang Giri Sadewa, plus essays on edutrans.id, reinforce my role as an educator-creator in Indonesia’s leadership and education space.

I have had the opportunity to contribute to several articles that are indexed in Scopus, which is widely regarded as a leading global database for research publications. Being included in Scopus indicates that the research meets high standards of quality and has the potential to reach a broad international audience. This recognition helps ensure that the work can have a meaningful impact within the academic community and beyond. In addition to Scopus, I have also been fortunate to publish numerous other articles indexed in SINTA and Google Scholar, providing further opportunities for the research to be accessible to a diverse audience both nationally and internationally. These indexing platforms play a key role in advancing the dissemination of knowledge and fostering scholarly collaboration.

I have been awarded several research grants, which are critical not only for advancing my research but also for contributing to broader academic and societal developments. Research grants provide the necessary resources to explore important questions, develop innovative solutions, and conduct in-depth studies that may otherwise be unattainable. These grants are a mark of trust and recognition from institutions and funding bodies, affirming the value and potential impact of the proposed research. Moreover, receiving such grants enables collaboration with other scholars, promotes knowledge sharing, and helps address pressing challenges within the academic and professional communities. Ultimately, these opportunities contribute to the continuous improvement of education and industry practices, while also fostering the growth of evidence-based knowledge.
